He still uses the same ISP, same router, etc. He has two machines there (one desktop and one laptop, both running Windows 7 Pro) and is no longer able to connect from either. Nothing has changed at this user's house. The TZ600 has the latest available firmware installed as of yesterday. exe file to install the updated NetExtender client, and he was able to install it that way, but he's still not able to connect.
He just gets the standard 'page could not be displayed' when he tries browsing to that. Interestingly enough, he is also no longer able to browse to the VirtualOffice page (which is where we normally go to download the NetExtender Client). He just gets the standard 'server is unreachable and may be down' error. The user who is unable to connect never got that message. They all fired up their laptops the next morning, connected using the NetExtender Client, got the message that there was a newer version of the NetExtender client available, went through that process, and connected fine. We have maybe 10 users who run the NetExtender client and connect from offsite.Īfter upgrading the SonicWall, I have one user who is no longer able to connect from his house via the NetExtender client. I've replaced an aging SonicWall TZ205W with a TZ600 because the organization outgrew their TZ205W.
